It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marty Morrison, long time member of the Marrickville Peace Group and dedicated human rights and peace activist.
Marty was a remarkable woman of great love, compassion and generosity. Age never diminished her determination to campaign for human rights and an end to discrimination and oppression in its many forms.
Marty was a stalwart of the Marrickville Peace Group and an inspiration to peace activists and advocates alike. Her memory will forever help us focus on striving to make this world a more caring, equal and peaceful place.
Our condolences go to her family and friends and all who loved and admired her.
Marty’s funeral ceremony will be held on Friday September 10th from 11.00am to 12.15pm.
